Labyrinth: Sir Didymus Portrait

Any fans of the old Labyrinth flick? Yes.... the one featuring David Bowie wearing a pair of white spandex pants resulting in his crotch becoming the star of the films last scenes... that labyrinth... Well I know I love it! (The movie that is.... not Davey's crotch).... So you can imagine how excited I was to get an opportunity to do this Sir Didymus portrait for one of my favorite clients! The rendering on her skin will be started very soon! Stay tuned.

This picture was done with derwent graphite pencils, a white prismacolor pencil and a black prismacolor col-erase pencil on vellum by the way.... typically I like strathmoore 400 series for all my graphite portrait work but I thought I would try something different this time.
