This tattoo was just an absolute joy to do..... I mean who wouldn't (as a J-Pop-Junkie and die-hard gamer) enjoy an afternoon (and a late evening.....) of renderring a rather sizable illustration of Tetra from Zelda on a lovely clients thigh.

The piece itself is a re-imagined version of an actual image of Tetra alterred considerably.... I don't feel comfortable just "reproducing" licensed imagery as popular as this... Not that there is anything wrong with that.... its simply that tattoos like this are truly where my passion and work really mix and I have to take them as far circumstances allow me to in order to rest my head peacefully at night... :)

Awesome client and a super fun piece.

NOTE: The client and I listenned to over 80 songs from various Final Fantasy soundtracks while tattooing this.... Truly a storybook session for me :)

Truly, the session proved to make for one of the most lovely days I've had in ages :) I wish I got to do more work like this..... I intend on doing alot of similar stuff as freebies to fill a portfolio with and maybe gain a bit more of a reputation for it. If all goes according to plan, I have a FFX piece in the works next :)

But anyhow, I really appreciate you taking the time to look and comment, friend! Means a bunch!! Take care.
